user has a message recorded to say that they aren't avialble and to leave a message, when no answer. When the user auto dials to open mail,the user gets the same message after pswd, and the the diplay of new messages etc. New to voicemail, should they get the same greeting as they have recorded for callers or can you change that?

Sounds like the recorded a greeting in the company directory instead of just saying 'Joe Blow Ext 222'
F981 login then selct admin then greetings, I thinks its option one but listen for bionic betty to kick in and she will say "to record your name in the company directory press 1"...this is the one to record just the name and ext number. This is what people will here when they spell the persons name from the directory by last name.

Curly's right. To record the custom greeting you want callers to hear in that mailbox, have them log in, and select Admin, Greeting, Record, Prime.
