We just purchased a company that uses M7310 phones. There are no manuals on how to setup the system at all. We can't change VM or select an auto attendant. The box in the phone closet has a PCMCIA Flash Card with 4MB. What capabilities do I have with this system and can anyone help answer questions for me?

You may want to find out exactly what type system your 7310's are working on(it could be several system types), then call a qualified vendor..

I agree with BagNYCs. Decide how you would like the system to operate regarding ringing lines, voice mail greetings etc., then call a Nortel vendor in your area. Within a couple of hours he will have the system singing for you. He will also be able to tell you the systems expandability and available features.

As above , you need a tech. It's not the phone, it's the system and solfware that offers up the different features and options you have. If it is a new company purchase, in all likelyhood you will have to have a tech look at what you have now "including VM" and then decide how you want your calls in and out to be directed etc. Best bet is to take to the programmer / tell him what you want to happen / he will reset or reprogram to suit your needs.
