What is the basic config of a norstar ksu 0x32 =

______ lines ________stations

thanks

amp 1=stations 1-24
amp 2=stations 25-32 plus aux
amp 3=lines

lines are 0, you need to add trunk cards or t1 card for lines
stations are 32

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

actually there are only 3 amphenol cables on the 0X32 (number of lines by number os stations) the first two amp connectors are for the station wiring and miscelaneous other connections (see faq799-1799 for pinouts) the third amp connector is used for outside lines and depending on what cards you have loaded into the MICS then the number of trunks available changes so the base startup of a MICS is 0X32 that means no trunks and 32 stations, If you install two Caller ID loopstart cards you have a 8X32 with 8 trunks and 32 stations, if you decide to go the T-1 or PRI route and install one t-1 card then you are sitting at 24 or 23 X 32.
