Does anyone have a clue what type of processor is in a Norstar??

BagsNYC:

I had to go back a ways to find you and this question. Over the weekend I picked up some Nostar documents that were tucked away in a box and noticed "Technical Specs" for the Nortel Norstar-PLUS Modular ICS and it caught my attention due your question and since there were no responses.

Technical Specificatoins:

Power and Speed:
1. 16MHZ Motorola 68302, 32 bit data bus, microprocessor
with 40.0 Million Instructions Per Second (MIPS) digital
signal Processor (DSP)
2. Adjunct processor port capacity for even more power and
speed in the future.
3. High-performance D-channel messaging-16 transmitters
4. Supports stations (telephones) located up to 2,600 feet
away.

Memory:
1. 16MB of addressable RAM/ROM, 4 MB

2. Downloadable firmware cores extend system life and value.

I hope that this helps you out and that it's not too late to do any good. Again, I copied this out of a brochure for
Norstar-PLUS Modular ICS, under "Technical Specifications". Let me know what you think and if this is what you needed?

Thanks trabra...

The question was odd as it is, but I'm sure they will appreciate the research...
