Help! This is related to a previous thread about Norstar auto attendant greetings.

I've recorded a new AA greeting but when I call in the old one is playing right after.

I went in to the tree and my new recording is in all the time slots. I can't find the old one anywhere. When I disable the tree it messes everything up and none of the extensions work any more.

What do I do?

How do I either delete the old one or delete the new one so at least it's not playing two greetings in a row?

Thank you!!

Norstar voice mails play a company greeting and then either a AA table instruction message or a CCR tree path 0 if CCR is enabled. Sounds like your 2nd (old) greeting is a CCR tree. That is where you need to record your new instructions not in a greeting. To record a CCR prompt be sure to disable the tree first or it won't save.

Thanks for the response. I will try recording it in the CCR tree. For now I just recorded a few second of silence on the Greeting so it would go away. It's just playing the old one now so at least it's not repeating messages.

Often Greeting is glued to CCR path 0

i.e.:
Greeting 1 "Thank you for calling ABC"
Path 0 = "If you know your parties ext #....etc"

i.e. for night time
Greeting 2 "Thank you for calling ABC, we are now closed"
Path 0 = "If you know your parties ext #....etc"
