Norstar Handset Volume

I have a CICS with version 6.1 - most phones are T7316E

We find it difficult to hear callers. Internal and External calls are affected.

We are constantly pressing the volume up button, pressing the phone against our ears, even putting our hands over our other ears but it's still very hard to hear!

The problem is only with the handsets - the speakerphones are pretty loud!

Is there any way to increase the volume throughout the system??

Go into Config and set the Volume to use Set Volume instead of System Volume, it will retain the last setting they adjusted....givin the phones are not too old of a release.

test lines at demark with a butt set. may need to turn up mft's on telco side. is volume low on all lines?

problem affects internal calls too though - not using lines.

Where would I find the "Use Set Volume" setting? That would help slightly, as we could keep the sets set at the highest level.
