Norstar Flash

I'm looking for a used norstar flash . but don't want to end up with a flash "light", or a non y2k flash.
Does anyone have any documentation or a link to some documentation where Nortel model numbers, issues and versions are listed?

Check out this link and the compability matrix. It goes pretty well into depth with the different voicemail systems and issues that might affect your system.

As for buying one. I think all of the flash are no longer made and you can only get refurbished or reconditioned ones. Best bet to look on Ebay.

Most Norstar secondary market dealers should have refurbished Flash voicemails available.

I have been looking on ebay but I would like to know what i'm buying. I guess what i'm really looking for is northern part numbers . There must be a list somewhere.
What is an NTAB2456 ?? and what is the number of a flash lite? which is what I really don't want to buy by mistake.

NTAB2456 is a Flash manufactured as a 4CH
NTAB2455 is a Flash 2CH - which can be upgraded to a 4CH

Just make sure you get 2.0 for the software, unless you are running an old 8X24. That requires 1.7-1.9, 2.0 will not work on it.
