Is it possible to manipulate the COS on a Flash VoiceMail? We are needing to extend message time on individual user's mailboxes. I had response to original posting but was hoping for more detail regarding entry into Vmail and manipulating through whatever screens reside inside the Flash..Thanks in advance.....

As far as I know there is no menu option on the Flash to do that. You can build mailboxes and a bunch of other stuff, but no COS edits.

Sorry.

The DB25 on the front of the Flash is a serial port. Hookup to is with a strait threw serial cable. Using Hyperterminal your settings are 1200 8n1 turn xon/xoff to none.

How tough is it to move around once in switch??

It's a menu like an old BBS.
Not hard at all. You will need the password SYSMGR just like I typed it.

What version software are you using? I am selling the last version available on eBay. Flash BRU 3.1.02 eng/fre. which lets you do a backup to the PCMCIA flash card. In case you are interested.

Rob, actually looking to extend message retention for user mailboxes. What are you selling?

Sorry you can't change that from what I understand. Only the CallPilot and NAM can customize the retention as well as other mail related time stuff in COS.

It's a software card for the Flash that is the last version Nortel made before they discontinued production of the Flash. The one I have is Eng/Fr.
