Norstar Flash and 8x24 DR5

Hello, I have a 8x24 with dr5 software. I have a norstar flash 2 port. We need to have 4 incoming lines ring on 12 phones. Got that set up by adding the lines to the phones. There is an AA that answers after 4 rings. Here's the problem - if user 1 is on the phone, all calls forward to user1's voicemail because I have it set to forward when busy. Is there a way to do this so that the inbound calls will not forward, but a transfer to that person, or chosing them through the AA would send them to VM if the person is on the phone?

No if you have a phone with lines ringing on it, you can not have the fwd on busy turned on. It will cause all calls to roll into the personal vm on that phone.

Thanks. I did turn off the forward on busy to the sets. I was hoping there was another way..but I guess not!

There is another way, but you would have to upgrade to a CICS with at least 4.1 software.
