Norstar Flash 2

I just purchased a startalk flash 2 system refurbished because our old system crashed last week. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get the handset to ring when routed by the AA. Currently it goes straight to voicemail. None of the handsets will show MSG FOR YOU either. Any help is appreciated.

are you setting up the CCR tree to go to an ext.?

no not setting up a ccr

did you do a reinstall? this will clear the memory. make sure messaging waiting is set to Y in mailbox setup.

ya i did the full reinstall and still doesn't seem to work. any other ideas?

What do you have for a KSU? What do you have for software for it? Are you sure you were previously using the AA in the voicemail, or do you have a CICS for example with its own AA software enabled?

Was your old voicemail a Flash 2, or something else ?

Did you use the same port for the Flash 2 connection as the old voicemail used ?

What is the NT number on the Flash 2 software flashcard? Is it a Vmail or Vmail-Lite? Ver ?

did you advise in greeting the extension list?

if you call in and the aa answers and you dial an ext ,but goes straight to vmail either the phone is forwarded to vmail or the software is incompatible with the phone system

need to know phone system type and software level and the voicemail type and software level
