how do I assign a dedicated DID number to a subscriber mailbox and have it answer immediatly?

If you are assigning to user set and not Auto Attendant, you would assign the Target line to the set and set the CFNA to no rings.

Actually, you can assign the prime set for the line to be the vmail DN, then, if your received digits match the mailbox exactly, and the target line is not assigned anyplace else, it will go directly to that mailbox.
ie. EXPRESS LINE
That way, you can have one target line for the set, and a different target line for the mailbox. Fun stuff.

Mravo is correct with Prime line being the vmail ext. yet you will need an active port from the system to do this. You will not be able to have it ring and answer if there is no module in place to act as the extension. this way you will not have to add a telephone. Phantom voicemail/ ghost voicemial
