NORSTAR DOORPHONE

Installed a N* Door Phone to a C.I.C.S about 3 years ago in a church anyway the K.S.U. gets wacked by lightning and everything goes tits up.
Put in a new C.I.C.S. with 8x16 s/w but i can't remember 100% how to program the doorphone "chimes", the phones that are supposed to "intercom" ring when the doorphone button is pushed do ring .
Under F9*4 the programming looks thus:-
Door phone codes
F900
Admin=26 (which is the doorphone xtn #)
Volume= medium
Call DN=21
Rings=5
Page zone=3
Chime type=1
Opener type=none (no remote unlocking attatched)
A copy of the booklet supplied would be good but more importantly some sincere words of wisdom from you "peoples" would be better.

BTW what is the F900 for as when you try it nothing happens???

Hi,

I just installed one.
Make sure that, for that particular extension, hands-free is activated and automatic, only ONE intercom key, and the primeline is INTERCOM.

That should do it.... I left the manuals at the customer location, but since I installed it last week, it's still fresh in memory...
