Good Morning
Is there a way to have the Doorphone ring on certain stations only at a particular time of day. We have a school that would like some of the office staff to be alerted only after the school receptionist has gone for the day, without having to do any manual forwards.
Thanks
Tom

I don't think so.

The Ringing service would have been perfect if it also applied to sets, and not only to lines. The doorphone acts like a set.

The closest thing I can think of would be to use two hunt groups:

1. Build the first hunt group with the receptionist as a member.
2. Build the second hunt group with the office staff as members. The receptionist can also be included as a member.
3. Set the queue timeout of the first hunt group to the shortest value. That would be 15 seconds.
4. Program the first hunt group to overflow to the second hunt group.
5. Program the doorphone to call the first hunt group.

That setup would be totally automated, but it would apply all day long.

The doorphone would ring the receptionist's set during 15 seconds. That is about 2 rings. If the receptionist does not answers the call, it would start ringing the office staff's set.
