We are currently using a Norstar Plus Modular ICS fiber system. But we own alot of copper 2 port and 6 port expansion cartridges, MOX16, M12X0, and DID devices. I know that we cannot connect the 2 and 6 port expansion cartridges in the ICS that we are using, but could we still use the M0X16, M12X0, and DID cartridges if we buy a fiber 6 port expansion module? Or does all of the cartridges and modules have to be the fiber type?

NO THEY DON'T, THERE IS A DEVICE DS30 IT CONVERTS FIBER TO COPPER

There is a 6-port copper expansion made for the MICS. The only problem is that it covers the 2 thin slots (1 & 2) preventing the use of a services card in the event you want to install a T1. If not using a T1 the MICS copper expansion seems to work well.
