Norstar connected to Gentner

I am trying to help someone at a radio station who has a Norstar connected to a Gentner interface. The calls to the radio station stay up for about 10 seconds then go silent on the Gentner but stay up on the Norstar. Anyone deal with one of these Gentners?

Can you elaborate a little bit? How are the calls answered: Gentner or Norstar? Gentner model in use? Describe the connections to both the Gentner and the Norstar.
