Norstar Compact Plus connected to 4 analogue Lines.
Recently changed the system due to water damage. Rel 2.0 Previous system was okay.
Lines 3 & 4 (on different numbers are ok)
Lines 1 & 2 (auxiliary working) when you press the line key and quickly hit a digit dial tone stays there. You can re-start dialling and everything is ok but if a user selects line button and dials quickly, the first digit is clipped.
Pausing after selecting a line before dialling is okay.
All dip switches are the same for all lines on the line card. Tried changing polarity of lines and changing loop unguarded setting.
Dialling direct on to the line bypassing the system is okay using a test handset. Moving line 3 to line 1 on the system dials okay so it is the Norstar that doesn't like dialing on lines 1 & 2! I have found out from BT that these lines are either on a different exchange or a different part of the exchange and they say 'nothing is wrong with the line'
Any ideas?
Thanks
Dave
