Norstar CICS 7.0 configuration / backup

Hi...

I have a CICS that I need to replace (lightning hit).

Is the programming stored on the compact flash card - or elsewhere in the base unit?

Just trying to figure out if this will be one hour or eight hour job.

Programming is stored on the CICS motherboard. Unless you have a backup you'll have to reprogram by hand.

Its only a CICS so either way about an hour or 2.
It resides on the KSU.

OK - that's what I figured... unfortunately the lightning strike fried the voice ports - so couldn't get a backup off the system today. Oh well - it's a gov't customer so the site pays prevailing wage - more $$ for me!
