Just need to know if there is a barge-in feature similar to the Meredian switches? I need something to alert a user who is on the phone that the receptionist has another call for him without the user having to put the caller on hold and without the caller hearing anything.

Does this exist???

Try this.....from the user CD rom
Priority Call (has to be allowed in programming)
If you get a busy signal or a Do Not Disturb message when you
call someone in your office, you can interrupt them. Use this
feature for urgent calls only.
Making a priority call
1. Press Feature 69
2. Wait for a connection, then speak.
A person who receives a priority call while on another call has
eight seconds to accept or block the call. If the person
does nothing, the priority call feature puts their active call,
including conference parties, on Exclusive Hold and connects
your call.

Priority calls works like a barge in.

You have to go under Capabilities and set Priority call to Yes, to enable the feature for that phone.

Then anytime that phone calls another ext in the office, it will come up in their display and show Priority while it's ringing (or while hearing busy signal, DND etc).

When they press Priority, the ext they are calling has 8 seconds to tell their caller that they are about to be put on hold. After that 8 secs, they are talking to the priority caller, when they hang up, the ext is automatically reconnected to their orignal call.
