Norstar 8x24 Flash4 vm system time not matching

We have a Norstar 8x24 with version DR5 with a Flash4 vm version 1.7
When leaving a new vm say today it is date stamping the vm left as 3 months earlier that it was left in August.
Any ideas??
I did try power cycling them both down the back up together.

What is the Year and Month, even the day on the KSU?
Its gets its info from the KSU.

The ksu is exactly accurate. And i know that the vm gets the time from the ksu. That is the problem.

Sorry we don't know what you know....especially when you say you are a "technical user".

I can only think it might be corruption then, reinstall vmail since you said you rebooted the mail.

Even though the time and date show as correct in the 824, go ahead and reset both in 824 programming. Then reboot the Flash and see what happens.

Correct, power them both down at the same time and then reboot. That should fix your problem.

In my original post i mentioned that i did power cycle them both up together and that did not correct the problem.
I was told yesterday by another tech that he thinks i should upgrade the 8x24 from current DR5 to DR5.1.
I have the ability to do that but i dont know anything about it what the difference is or if it would work??

I don't think it would matter since they are currently compatible.

Try changing time and date then change it back, then boot only the Flash.

Just one message with this issue or every message? or just one mailbox?

I like to boot KSU, when it boots up I then boot up mail......rather than both together.
