Norstar 824 System with VM

Hello:

We just implemented Norstar in a dental office. We want that after 4 rings, if no one picks up the phone, it gets into the Auto Attendant mode where after our greetings, we say, Press 0 to leave a message. Pressing 0 should take one to a mailbox (specifically marked for this) for messages immediately. That is without ringing or just ringing 1 time.

My installer says, it cannot be done. Please advise.

you could get it to go to a mbx immediately, but I think it would always say: "the operator is not available," before going to that mailbox.

Thanks Brike. Can you tell me steps how to configure this to go to the vm immediately without 4 / 5 rings. The message "the operator is not available," is OK.
