Norstar 6.1 how to force dialing area code first

I am very new to programing this phone system and have no formal training on it. I want to program in that every extended area phone call (or every call) needs to have the area code included. Can someone tell me how?

If it's all the same area code program an external autodial with those 3 digits on a button on all the phones.

For any other programming- search the FAQ's- a wealth of information
