Norstar 3x8 Line Question

My norstar 3x8 phone system is set to pick up any available line when the handet is picked up. I want to be able to set it so it picks up the intercom (Handset to handset), and not an outside line. How would I do this?

Yes it can be changed, you need to change the prime line on that phone from pool to intercom. Are you familiar with programming on a Norstar? Also you are posting your question in the wrong forum, you are in the CS1000 forum and need to be in the Norstar forum.

Sorry i tried to find the norstar forum and this said meridian, so I thought that the name might have been changed. And I am somewhat familiar with programming them, but not to much. I have just been giving the job to do this
