Good morning/afternoon!

How can I locate the port of a digital phone on the Norstar 0x32 system? Instead of toning out the line I would like to know if there is a feature that I need to look into to find the port on the punch block.
The reason I want to know is because I tried locating the extension by following the sequence on the punch block.
The first extension is the operator extension 2221. So I follow the sequence of extensions and tried to find x2258 and assuming that it follow the sequence I tested that drop and guess what, it was another extension (2283). Is there an easier way to locate the port id on the block?

Thanks in advanced!

Sounds like they have Set Relocation turned on so that's why the port did not match the extension you traced.
If you loginto the system and go to Maintenance>Port/DN Staus, change it to Dn then enter the extension it will show you the port that it's on.

Or from the phone in question press feature * 0. Press the intercom and look at the display, it should say VIEW, press VIEW and it will tell you the port.

Thanks a lot hawks and jsaad!

I will give it a try next time I have a similar workorder.
