Hi
Depreciation was run in Norming for May 2017. During the process, an error batch was created. The error batch was posted in May 2017 also. When looking at the A/M Asset Activity Inquiry, certain assets show two depreciations in May – one for the original depreciation batch and one for the error batch. When looking YTD, these certain assets (not all) show 13 months of depreciation being taken. This ties to the GL detail – so depreciation was posted twice in the GL. However, when you compare the export files of the batches, there are no duplicate asset IDs. The error batch ties directly to the GL batch that was posted, but the original batch does not. The amount posted in the GL is more than what is shown as the total for the original depreciation batch. Is it possible that depreciation can be posted twice in norming when there is an error?

You'll probably have more success contacting Norming directly.
