We have two sites. Each has its own mcd (3300).

When a users in site A calls another user in site A the mcd does the call setup but then the conversation is directly between the two phones and not via the controller. Correct?

When a user is site B calls another user in site B the data after the call is set up flows like this UserA <-> MCD A <-> MCD B <-> UserB . There is no point to point between the phone of userA and the phone of user B. Correct?

MCD A and B are not clustered together but are using trunks instead (I dont know if I explain that correctly)

Thanks

IIRC once the call is set up whichever way the call is between the two endpoints even across SIP trunks (RTP protocol); the MCD's just monitor the SIP trunks and wait for the SIP trunks to signal for a tear down as soon as the call is finished. So no, its still point to point once the call has been set up.
