Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade a customers BCM200, but I don't know where to start. What would i need to present nortel for them to make a quote? I know with the bigger systems (Meridian 1's) You start an upgrade by using the serial key of the pbx. Is it the same? and where in element manager can i find this info? or do i need to get serial?

More info needed.

What Rls?
What do you mean by upgrade?

Are you upgrading to a BCM 400?

It's at Rls. 3.6 now, and want to upgrade it to Rls. 4.0
So a software upgrade, not anything hardwarish :)

Any authorized Nortel Dealer can take the System ID and run the number to see what you have and what it will cost for you to upgrade.

If you can access the system remotly on a LAN, you can use the BCM Monitor program to get the system ID.

You can also type Feature ** SYSID into a 2 line phone (7310 or greater).
