I want to run a Folding@Home SMP beta client as a service, but it exits with error 1067. I've been told that this option isn't supported for Windows Server 2003. Is there another way that I can leave this process running after logging out as administrator?

Thanks

Have you considered running it as a scheduled task or you can try creating an autoexec.nt file which will load it when windows starts up.

Thanks, running it as a scheduled task did start it, but then the process is still terminated if I happen to log in as administrator and then log out. I suppose I could make a user with proper privileges specifically for this process. Any other suggestions?

what about running it as a network service account?

When I was born I was so suprised I didn't talk for 18 months
