Non visible .SWF when exported from Illustrator during preview

I have been using Illustrator CS to exoprt .AI files as .SWF files into flash but they are not visible when I preview or publish.

Is there a problem with Flash/Illustrator?

I can see the .SWF image in the workspace, but turns invisible in when I preview/publish.

I have looked everywhere, and have yet to find information on this problem. It seems pretty straight forward to export from illustrator into flash, but why am I having this difficulty?

try selecting it all and breaking it apart

ctrl a
ctrl b
