We have a 4 element cluster recently upgraded from R7.1 to R8.SP3. an oaysis call recording ( PRI trunk ended) is installed in element 1. We have programmed recording on demand here. Until the upgrade we had keys on 5330 sets in all elements with the feature NON VERIFIED AUTH CODE programmed. When the user wanted to record a received call they depressed the key and dialed a two digit code (55). Calls were recorded. After the upgrade only the element 1 phones could use this feature. Phones from elements 2,3 and 4 could invoke the feature (successfully) but no call is recorded. SMDR from elements 2,3 and 4 show the auth code, SMDR from element 1 doesn't show the code as being dialed from elements 2,3 and 4.
Mitel Product Support responded that AUTH CODES are not transmitted over ip trunks. Anyone have an idea what happened?
