Non-roman Characters in Photoshop

Hi,

I am trying to create some text layers in photoshop using non-roman characters. I create them in Word using an IME Language Pack and copy and paste to a text layer in Photoshop but it comes up with "????" instead of the characters.

How can I display these characters? Is there some sort of Adobe language support available?
