Non Ringing Call Coverage 1

IP Office 11.0.4.2 with PRI Trunks.
Replaced a BCM 400.
Had Doctors Office with two intertwined practices.
Each Practice had their lines ring on their extensions. That's easy enough of course.
But they also had a button so would know the other Practice's phones were ringing and could manually press that button to help answer their calls. (They had a non ringing appearance of a target line for other ex nortelers)
Best Ideas to try and re create??

I thought maybe could just ring calls to a particular extension and do a non ringing call coverage. But even though I don't have it ringing. When they pick up phone it answers. And only way could get it to pick up manually was to disable ringing line preference but then they have to press button EVERY time they want to answer all calls including ones actually ringing.

Is there a setting I'm missing to force them to press a button for non ringing call coverage button of answering immediately when going off hook. But would allow them to answer their lines by just going off hook.

Or if better way to do this happy to learn new tricks. I don't see how can do it if using Hunt Groups.

You can answer the call with user buttons???And will user buttons light up when phones ringing??
