I have three 2k servers which up until yesterday appeared to be working fine. Today however they don't appear to want to replicate. I can request that the servers replicate from sites and services and I receive the message informing me that AD has replicated connections, but when I check I find that new user accounts have not replicated. I have used the support tool admin tool after attempting replication and on the 2 remote servers it tells me that the Global Catalogue isn't ready, whilst the server running the global catalogue is ready. I think this is my problem.

Any help gratefully received

Regards
Chris

Has anyone changed the replication defaults without your permission, perhaps? If not, have you tried to ping the Global catalog server (from the AD server) to see if maybe the AD server can communicate with it at all? Maybe the connections are down.

Might want to ping from all three non-working servers to see if they are actually communicating with other servers.

Hope that helps.

Are you replicating all three servers from sites and services, or just picking the one and telling it to replicate to the other two. I always select all my servers and replicate them when needed. Glen A. Johnson
