Hi

Can any one assist, I am trying to use various groups which are non standard on different reports. Please note I have changed the exact data to simplify.

Example 1)

I have a quantity field and would like to group by the following amounts. How would I also display the titles within the groups.

Quantity 1 to 5
Quantity 6 to 10
Quantity 11 to 20
Quantity 21+

Example 2)

I have a field called Country where I would like to 3 groups. The 3 groups are made up only from the country field. Again how would i place the label on the report.

Europe ( Which is made up of UK, Germany and France )
Americas ( Which is made up of USA, Canada, Mexico)
Asia (Which is made up of China, Japan and Hong Kong)

Subplemetary issue for interest how would I then group the countries into North, South, West Europe as a 2nd Group.
Example 3)

I have a field called Order date, where I would to break it down into 4 phases of orders from a new business start up. Again how would place this field on the report header.

Phase 1 start 16th March 1998 - 24th September 1998
Phase 2 start 25th Septemeber 1998 - 31st January 1999
Phase 3 start 1st February 1999 - 31st January 2001
Phase 4 start 1st February 2001 - Current date

I have always wondered how to do this in Access.

My solution would be to add an extra field in the query or table of the report (like 'priceCategory' or 'countryRegion') and group on that field.
