Hi

My problem is that every time I build my project, it rebuilds EVERYTHING.... everytime...

In project settings I have checked "Link Incrementally" and it continues to do this...

WHy?

I have an old Win95 which I use for compatibility testing. I installed VC++ on it and it worked fine. Then, I wiped the hard disk, then re-installed - I now get the exact same problem on that particular machine only.
If I rebuild a project then go to 'execute' it, it then rebuilds yet again before executing it!!!!! Drives me nuts so I would be very interested to hear any answers to this question.
The only clue I have is in the fact that it worked fine before I wiped the hard disk and did a fresh install of Win95. Perhaps the standard install of Win95 does not include some element or something that needs to be there to prevent this problem?? Who knows?

Ya, I forgot to mention that too

If I try to execute it, it tells me these files are out of date, and require a rebuild.... Although I can just select no and it works fine.

Thought that might help, since this started showing up around the same time.

I've seen this myself but it was a long time ago and I can't really recall the solution except that it had something to do with the time settings or time zone settings on the box.
Sorry, doesn't really help much.

I had this problem too. My fault was to keep the system date before the files creation date (in order to use some expired library :) :) :) :) ). Adjusting that and a Rebuild All operation fixed the problem (And after paying for the library registration obviously :) )
But I don't know if this is your problem too...
Bye
