Non graphics printing

I need to print in non graphics mode for some of my applications, like in DOS mode printing. This is for large volume printing e.g. printing invoices etc and to be printed on a dot matrix printer. I have a previous post about this and a response from Ramani. unfortunately, didn't help. thanks Ramani anyway.

Whats wrong with the DOS-copying of the file to the "PRN:" or "LPT1:" device? I always thought it is still supported by MS in all versions of Windows...

My trick is to create a TXT file with low level Fput, Fget, etc commands and then print the txt file
