Hi,
Does anyone know which steps are needed, or what I would need to ask a service provider for, in order for a customer's outgoing CLI to be presented as an 0845 number (ISDN Trunks). The 0845's are programmed into the system as the outging number, but I obvoiusly need something done at the network level in order for it to work.

Any help appreciated

Which service provider?

OK, Gamma are probably reselling BT lines (I am not aware that they have any ISDN infrastructure of their own)

For BT, you have 2 options; one is called presentation numer -where they will allow you to show a single nominated NGN. Or you can request level 3 CLI release - which is a contracted arrangement and will allow you to show any outbound CLI that terminates somewhere on your PABX infrastructure. This is typically use by outbound call centres to display a callback number which isn't at the same physical location (so your outbound agent don't get any incoming calls)

BTW, you will presenting the 08xxx number from your hardware, the carrier will mearly allowing it to pass through.

You may also have to mess around with the formating,
you may find you have to send it out as +845 or 00845 or 0845 or 845....

Bit of trial and error.
