non created mail box

Hi

have been having real problems with a 2000 serverand exchange 2000.

I have in desperation Installed a clean server with a fresh install of 200 server, installed the service packs, done every update and then installed exchange 2000 with all the updates.

If I create a new user I get the expected window - create an exchange mail box. I tick the box and click to finish.

It tells me that a mail box has been created at:

server: edwards-micros-mail/first adminastrative group/testpc

Mailbox store: First storage group/mailboxstore (testpc)

Yet if I look in exchange mananger under: mailbox store .. mailboxes The user mail box is not there. It appears not to have been created.

Has any one any ideas what is going on

Hi

I did that and the message did not bounce back yet when I check:

exchange system manager ....first storage group....mailbox store....mailboxes

I only see listed

administrator
smtp
system attendant
system mailbox

I'm confused

any ideas ?

Is it in the Inbox of the user if you config Outlook and check?
