Non cheyenne media

Hello

I have a Dlt 20/40 gb tape drive and arcserve for nt.When i
Shedule a backup the backup runs and in the log file is everything ok. but when i want to restore ,i get the message "non cheyenne media"

What could be the problem ?

Non cheyenne media is normally a tape that been formated in another backup program, is MTF in NTBackup, but it could just be the heads are dirty. Clean drive and try quick erase plus'ing tapes so they get a fresh "Cheyenne" Format.
