Have a Norstar 2 x 32 with PRI. Had to reset system to clear some one-way audio issues. Now, calls that come in with no caller id "blips" once on the phone with the targeted DID and the caller gets a fast busy. Calls coming in WITH caller id are fine. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

There are a number of things that could be causing the issue. I presume all was working at one time? Some calls come through ok now? No changes in Norstar programming? The Norstar has little troubleshooting ability unlike it's big brother. With that in mind, and the previous presumptions are true, the best bet is to get a DS1 tester with q.931 on it and bridge in to watch for set-up and tear-down messaging. Make sure the right digits are coming through and watch the reject messages. Telco can watch the messages to and may help figure this one out. In 15 years, I've seen 1 DTI card be the cause of issues. That's not to say it isn't possible, but, based on your description, more likely a q.931 issue.

Odd that that would happen after only a power cycle, though.

Are you sure that wasn't an issue before you pulled the plug?
