Nokia IP330 and Checkpoint

We plan on upgrading our Nokip IP330 with;

1- IPSO 3.9
2- Checkpoint NGX with VPN.

Can someone tell me whether the ipso image includes the upto date bootmanager or will this need to be carried out seperately? I don't have nokia support and will obtain the 3.9 image file from a close contact.

Any other suggestions to how the upgrade should be achieved would be appreciated.

The IPSO image does contain the boot manager and will install it automatically as part of the upgrade depending on the version it's currently on.

If you're on version 3.4 (I think) or less you will have to do it manually before attempting the upgrade (or you will give yourself major problems)
