Have a Nokia 32 on extension 201

Calling extn 201 gives you the Premicells dial tone

(I have tried switching of the unit giving a dialtone)

Eiter way if i dial 201 ,wait for 1 second then dial a mobile no the system works everytime

Short code 07n, number 201D,07n dial extension does not work.

The extension rings for 3 rings then i get engaged after another 5 or so seconds

Call status shows the no called is 201xxxxxxx

where xxxxxxx is the last 7 digits of the mobile no called

I suspect some type of timing problem with the firstt 4 mobile digiots being lost or corrupted along the way.

spridge I was just playing around with the same features while experimenting with fax servers. Clip on to the analog port with your buttset and count digits dialed and when they are dialed (too early, too late etc.) and you should be able to nail it. I also found it helped to set the extension type to IVR port if you haven't already.

One warning though. I have found that if a user has to answer an external call and then transfer to your premicell system, the IPO will NOT pass the DTMF digits that follow the D in your shortcode string. Have no idea why. However, if you can change the numbering scheme on the premicell (not familiar with it) so that you can pass it 5 or less digits instead of 7, there is a great workaround. Search in the engineering toolkit (2.1) for "personal fax numbers" and follow the instructions there - the ones involving callerID type on the port as DTMFB, creating virtual users (representing your mobile numbers) forwarded to a hunt group, etc. and you will find that works everytime.
