Can anyone recommend the best way to clean up some not so perfect video?
The video was shot in somewhat low light and doesn't have the perfect resolution
that my MiniDV usually produces. I have tried the Median filter and it does an ok job but it tends to blur the scene a little too much. Is there anything better out there?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Nikoe,

If the source footage was recored in a low-light scenario, chances are there just isn't enough data available to perform a decent noise reduction.

I know what you are saying, the darn thing should be correctable, but I'm afraid that is impossible. Is there any way to re-shoot the scene with some more lights? (This is why studios have such bright lights, to avoid this problem.)

Regards,
Mark
