Node-name question

I was looking around one of my PBX's and notice that in the node-name table there are two nodes with the same IP. My question; What is the node-name table used for besides given node-names to IP address? I am hoping the duplication is a typo and I can correct it. I have verified with the list ip-interface that the ips are not the same.
Thanks in advance!

different node-names that point to the same IP address are allowed when using Command: change node-name

you can change or delete entries if you do not want this.

Thank you for such a quick response BSH. So if I understand you correct the Node-name table is just used to assign node names to IP, allowing multiply node names to IP's.

correct. You will not be able to use the same node-name with a different address. It will return duplicate entry.
