Hello, does anyone have an idea how to install node.js on the server (Fasthosts Linux reseller) that I could actually follow? All of the online guides seem to have a page missing!!! Is it run from the command prompt or an uploaded script? I'm dying to have a play with it, but I'm really struggling to get a working framework.

Hi
Being a Linux system, have you tried its package manager ?
If that is not an option for you, are you intending to install it as super user or as a regular user ?
From which package you intend to install, binary or source ?
