I've just replaced the color cartridge in my HP710c and printed out a color page. No yellow appeared. Tried cleaning the cartridge using the utility provided with the W2K driver (original disk was only for Win 98 or NT), but although the test page output green (suggesting that yellow was mixing ok with blue), the areas that were meant to be yellow only were blank.

Has anyone any ideas how I can rectify this problem? The cartridge is a HP original.

Many thanks,
Alan Harris-Reid

Hi
Follow the instructions:
1. open the printer top door until carriage comes
accessible and remove the color cartridge.
2. unplug the power socket.
3. by a small wet sponge clean the attachment circuit
inside the carriage carfully.(Color cartridge side)
4. dry the circuit by another sponge immediately.
5. you have to clean cartridge attachment circuite too.
6. after 10 minutes you can put the cartridge in and plug
the printer.
7. it's time to test the yellow page printing again.
8. if the problem persist you have to give the printer
for changing the carriage.

Sincerely
Shervin
