just pointers in the right direction thats all i need

Maybe you can configure the Apache to allow the client to visit it by modifying httpd.conf file.

Regards! I want to emigrate Canada or Australia. Any relative information you supplied will be appreciated!

When you say you can telnet from the client - are you telnetting to port 80? If that is not the case, make sure that apache is running (netstat -na | grep 80).

Else, check under <Directory /> within httpd.conf and ensure that there is a statement in there 'order deny, allow' and 'allow from all' -- or 'allow from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' - where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx are the IP addresses you want to allow.

Hope this helps,
Paul
