No Writable Volume Found

I am running Networker6.1.1 on a Win2000 server. The tape library has 3 drives. This is what is happening: Backups start for group X with Pool X. There is one empty drive and the other two drives have tapes for pool X and pool Y. The tape for pool X is full, so the error no writable volume found appears. Legato will not eject the full tape and will not mount another X pool tape in the open drive it just continues to spit out the error and has no activity. Any ideas?

Use Auto Media Management on Robot?

My understanding is that auto media management will automatically label tapes and I do not want that. Can you explain a little more about this feature.
