HI,
I have suddenly lost the ability to connect on two laptops that are using wireless conection.

Both laptops are Dell Latitudes.
I have DSL setup and I am using a Linksys Wireless-b 2.4 GHz 802.11b Broadband Router.
I have the phone line plugged into the DSL modem, and then the internet cable is plugged into the router, which is then plugged into the main computer.

The main computer works ok through DSL which is going through the router, but the laptops do not receive a signal. The router seems to be working ok, and all the lights are on ok. the light flash all the time especially when I access he internet on the PC.

Can anyone help with this? I appreciate it.

Thanks,

Jediwarrior

The quick way to check your wireless activity would be to turn off the router for 10 seconds and see if you can pick up the router o/c..

the next step is to check all settings are set on laptop security wise if still ok

the next step is to do a hard reset of the router and see if it transmits a default setting connection

good luck

Stand up wherever you are, go to the nearest window and yell as loud as you can, 'I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore.'
