I just installed my modem wich is a voice/fax modem with a rockwell chipset and v.92 protocol and when I
connect to the net all of (it seems) my wav files stop
working!!! What I mean is the sound still works on all my media players and the sound works on things like shockwave. But they dont work on my instant messengers at all and my windows98 se sounds do not work either!!!. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be great. See the weird thing is my sounds go back to normal the minute I disconnect from the net. otherwise no wav sounds. I checked and the
modem and sound card are not conflicting as far as IRQ's.Im
