Hi all,
I am trying to setup 3 Vlan's and ports on 2 switches.
What I have done:
switch#1: vlan1(default), Vlan2, vlan3
switch#2: vlan1(default), Vlan2, vlan3

switch#1:
port 1/0/1, hybrid, untagged vlan2, tagged vlan3
port 1/0/2, hybrid, untagged vlan2, tagged vlan3
communication between port1 and 2 is possible in vlan2 and 3

port 1/0/24, trunk, untagged vlan1, tagged vlan2 and 3
trunk permit all vlan's

switch#2:
port 1/0/1, hybrid, untagged vlan2, tagged vlan3
port 1/0/2, hybrid, untagged vlan2, tagged vlan3
communication between port1 and 2 is possible in vlan2 and 3

port 1/0/24, trunk, untagged vlan1, tagged vlan2 and 3
trunk permit all vlan's

problem:
communication between switch#1, port1 and switch#2, port1 is not possible in vlan2 and 3

What is my error in setup?

I am more familliar with cisco's where setting de ports just to trunk mode is enough to be able to interconnect switches and their vlan's.

I am searching for 3 days now to get this working but unfortunately I havn't found the solution. I am propably looking over something very simple.

Any help will be very thankfull!

Have you bothered to read the 3COM Advanced Configuration Guide for the 4xxx/5xxx Stackable Switch Family?

If not, you can download it from 3COM's website. I don't have the current URL, since I got it some time ago.

sorry guys for the delay.
I have solved the problem. The PVID was not set correctly.
